Access to Funding
Finding funding to support non-apparent disability services can be difficult. Our services are not covered by Saskatchewan healthcare. Some Employee Assistance Programs and private insurers may cover some services.
You may be able to access funding through the supports below, depending on eligibility criteria.
Canada Revenue Agency
Canada Child Benefit (CCB)
The Canada child benefit (CCB) is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It is a tax-free monthly payment made to eligible families to help with the cost of raising children under 18 years of age.

The CCB may include the Child Disability Benefit (CDB)
Medical Expenses for Self, Spouse or Common-Law Partner and Dependent Children Born in 1988 or Later
Helps you claim medical expenses for self, spouse or common-law partner, and your dependent children born in 1989 or later.
Disability Tax Credit
A non-refundable tax credit that helps people with impairments, or their supporting family member, reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay.
Study Grant – Canada.ca
Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities
This grant is available to students with disabilities for each year of study. You can apply at the same time as you apply for student aid with your province or territory.
Canada-Saskatchewan Grant for Services and Equipment
This grant provides up to $22,000 per program year to purchase specialized education-related services and assistive equipment and does not have to be paid back.

Other funding
Ministry of Immigration and Career Training
Provides funding to help individuals prepare for, obtain and maintain employment, and activities to assist employers with the development, recruitment and retention of workers, consistent with provincial labour market needs.
