Who are we?

LDAS was incorporated in Saskatchewan as a not-for-profit organization in 1973 and became a federally registered charity in 1977. LDAS serves those living with learning disabilities and ADHD in Saskatchewan. We do this through the operation of three offices, strategically located across the province in Saskatoon, Regina, and Prince Albert.

Our core services include ADHD Coaching, Academic Strategy and Tutoring, Employability Coaching, Adult Education Program, and Psychoeducational Assessments.

The Learning Disabilities Association is part of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada, which has chapters in all the provinces and territories in Canada.

1. Collaboration – At LDAS, many people work together to support out clients and accommodate individual needs.
2. Potential – At LDAS, we help individuals lift off and flourish.
3. Hope – At LDAS, we inspire optimism and confidence so individuals can aim high and succeed.

Though diverse (employers, educators, parents, etc.), we help unite people to support people in a mission to embrace the uniqueness of individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD.

Land Acknowledgement and Statement of Inclusivity

LDAS is proud to acknowledge that we operate on Treaty 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 Territories, the traditional lands of the Nakota, Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Dene, and Lakota First Nations, and the traditional homelands of the Métis people. We pay our respects and dedicate our efforts to working together in the spirit of collaboration and reconciliation to close the gap in education outcomes, between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

LDAS also considers itself an organization of inclusion and diversity. Following the IDEA model, we strive to consistently promote inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility throughout our organization, both in how we serve clients and interact with employees through our internal policies and practices.
